Ne-Yo Discloses his New Album Date

All the fans have been eagerly waiting for “Non Fiction”, Ne-Yo’s 6th studio album, since he declared its launch back in May.

The singer has finally disclosed his forthcoming album’s official launch dates. The release date is disclosed after a while because the album’s initial release was stalled. The forthcoming album will also feature several artists like ScHoolboy Q, Juicy J, and Jeezy. Rap-Up has reported that Ne-Yo’s follow-up to R.E.D. will be launched on 27 January 2015. The album’s release was announced by the singer while he was on stage at the “Pre-Thanksgiving Bash” organized by Project Club LA on Wednesday.

The first single from Non Fiction, “Money Can’t Buy”, was launched by Ne-Yo in May. The song features Jeezy. Ne-Yo hinted at the 6th album when he displayed the cover art of the single. Since the declaration, the R&B singer has launched “She Knows”, a club-banger single that features Juicy J.

The album “Non Fiction” will also include ScHoolboy Q on “Run”, which is produced by Salaam Remi. As reported previously, the fans can look forward to the singer to stick to his R&B roots. In an interview, the songwriter/producer has told that his forthcoming album will primarily consist of R&B.
This past year, Ne-Yo has gained lots of attention for acting as the unofficial spokesperson for the eighth album of Rihanna and for collaborating with Celine Dion. In the past week, Ne-Yo made an appearance on the show “Jimmy Kimmel Live” alongside Pitbull for performing a dance anthem of Pitbull called “Time of Our Lives”. As for the delayed release of Non Fiction, we certainly hope that it will be worthy of the wait.
